North Creek Conservation Area

Another quick and super easy outdoor escape - this one is technically a park with lovely play area for the kids. In addition it houses a small wet land conservation area which is great for a short walk and of course an easy escape from the cities hustle-bustle.

An interpretive board walk
The boardwalk provides a wonderful opportunity to experience the rich diversity of a wetland environment. A great way to introduce the concept and science of wetland to children.

On this easy 3/4 mile trail, it is typical to see and hear birds. I understand there is also some wildlife which we have not had a chance so far.
