Hurricane Ridge - Olympic National Park

Located just 17miles south of Port Angeles, Hurricane Ridge is the most easily accessed mountain area within Olympic National Park.

On a clear weather day, it offers breathtaking panoramic views of the mountain ranges around.

View of the Hurricane Ridge Visitor center ... stop here for some useful information of the region, brochures and maps, gifts and refreshments.

The awe-inspiring vista at the Hurricane ridge ... showcasing miles of snow capped mountains and lush green valleys.

Spring is great time to see beautiful wild flowers blooming and adoring the mountain slopes.

There are a number of hiking trails that you can do here ranging from ridgetop traverses to steep trails descending to lakes and valleys.

I don't recollect the name of this short trail we took ... it offered amazing views of the mountains and valley.

... beautiful mountain flowers dotting the trails

You will surely not miss spotting these adorable deers grazing the meadows in this region.
