"As Rosemary is to the spirit, so Lavender is to the soul"

Whether or not purple is your favorite color, you are sure to love Lavender for its sweet smelling therapeutic fragrance.

As you may already know, lavender is used in essential oils, perfumes, in aromatherapy, in traditional herbal medicine ..

.. and in the kitchen as a culinary herb.

One of the most versatile essential oils...it can be used in the bath to fight tension, sprayed on a pillow help ease you into slumber, and even applied to the skin to heal and fight infection.

Lavender comes from the same family as  mint

Over 2500 years ago, lavender was used in ancient Egypt during the mummification process

The scent of lavender deters mice, flies, mosquitoes and other pests

Nectar from lavender plants are used to make high quality honey

With Lavender currently in peak-bloom, don't forget to check nearby Lavender farms who may be hosting Lavender fest.
